Terms of use

These terms are for everyone who uses whodo.it: people ordering from a shop, and people running one. whodo.it is operated by whodo.it inc. ("we").

Ordering from a shop

• The shop is the seller. Your order is an agreement between you and the shop: its prices, ingredients and allergy information, pickup, payment, and refunds are the shop's responsibility. If something is wrong with an order, contact the shop.
• whodo.it doesn't handle payments yet: you pay the shop the way it tells you (for example by e-Transfer or cash at pickup).

Running a shop

• You are responsible for your business: food safety, any licences or permits, accurate descriptions and allergy information, taxes, and honouring the orders you accept.
• Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for what the staff you add do in your business.
• Use your customers' information only for their orders, and send announcements only to people who asked for them (whodo.it's follow button records this for you).
• Don't use whodo.it for anything unlawful, misleading or harmful, or to sell anything other than what your shop makes.
• You can download all your shop's information and delete your shop at any time.

The service

• whodo.it is new and run by a small team. We work hard to keep it running and your information safe, with daily backups, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted.
• whodo.it is free during early access. If that changes, shop owners will be told well in advance, and nothing will be charged without their agreement.
• We may suspend a shop that breaks these terms or puts customers at risk. When possible, we'll contact the owner first.
• As far as the law allows, whodo.it isn't responsible for losses caused by a shop, by an interruption of the service, or by things outside our control.

General

These terms are governed by the laws of Nova Scotia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. If they change in a way that matters, shop owners will be told by email before the change takes effect. Questions:
