Calendar and bookings
Let people book a time with you.
Go to Calendar, then Hours and services.
- Set your hours.
- Add a service: a name, how long it takes, the price. You can ask a Deposit to book. Under Where, choose At my place or At the customer's (customers then type their address when they book).
- Save.
Customers tap Book an appointment on your page. New requests show in Calendar: Confirm or Decline. You can move or cancel a booking, or mark No-show.
When it's done, tap Done. We ask How much were you paid?, filled in with the price. Pick how (e-Transfer, cash…) and Save, or tap Not paid yet. Paid later? Tap Got paid on the booking. The customer sees the same amount.
Want it in your phone's calendar? Use the calendar feed link on the same page.
Regulars: whose dog, and every 6 weeks
- Taking a booking yourself? Under Name, start typing: pick the customer from your list, then For their pet (or car, or equipment) if they have one on file.
- Choose Repeat, for example Every 6 weeks. whodo books the next visits about four weeks ahead, at the same time of day. If that time is already taken, nothing is double-booked: the booking says so, and you tap Skip that visit or free the time and Try again.
- To change how often or stop, open the booking and change Repeat.
- Customers with an email get a reminder the day before, for their pet. Its link opens their visits: they can cancel one (before your free cancellation time) or stop reminders. You're told when they cancel. On the customer's page you can turn their reminders off too.
Pre-order pickups on the calendar
Your pre-orders' pickup and delivery times show on the calendar too (with a green line), with how many orders each has, so you don't book an appointment when you're handing out orders.
Who does it
With more than one person on your staff, a manager can pick Who does it on a new booking or on one in the calendar (and on a job). Their name shows on the booking. If they're already busy then (another booking or job here, or at another business where they work, or their own), the booking still goes in and says so; it never says where. On whodo's home page, each person sees Your work this week across every business they're on.
Remind them to come back
For a customer you see once a year (a heat pump cleaning, a chimney sweep), open their visit and pick Remind them to come back: in 3, 6, 12 or 24 months. When it's time, they get an email in their language, in the morning: a link to book that service again (or to reply or call you), and a way to stop reminders. If they've already booked it, they aren't reminded. Their reminders are on their customer page, where you can stop one.
Your own fields
On a customer's page, when you add or edit their pet, car or equipment, Your own fields adds what you note every time (a filter size, the last rabies shot), as text, a number, a date, or one of a few choices.
