Invoices and quotes
Send a numbered invoice, and keep every quote you sent.
An invoice
- Open the order (or the booking in Calendar, or the job once it's marked done).
- Tap Invoice (on an order, it's under More).
- Tap Email it to the customer. No email? Tap Copy the link and send it in a message.
The customer opens it, sees what's still to pay and how, and can print it or save it as a PDF. When you tap Got paid, the invoice shows it.
Each invoice gets the next number (INV-00001, INV-00002…). Your tax number goes on it if you added one in Settings → Payments.
A customer with a whodo account also finds it in their own account, under My orders.
A mistake?
An invoice is never changed. Tap Cancel this one: a credit note is made, numbered, and you can make a new invoice. If the order changes amount or is cancelled, whodo cancels its invoice for you the same way.
Receipts
Every payment you record (and every card payment) gets a numbered receipt (R-00001, R-00002…): who paid, for what, how much and how. Open it from the payment on the order, or under Invoices → Receipts. Undo a payment and its receipt is cancelled; a refund gets its own receipt. Customers with a whodo account find them under My orders.
Quotes
Every quote you send on a custom request is kept, numbered, under Quotes sent. A new quote replaces the last one.
All of them are in Invoices (under All tools).
