Markets and events
Run a market or event with its vendors, or be a vendor at one, with pre-orders picked up at your stall.
A market, a craft fair, a festival: one page with the dates, the place, the stalls on a map, and every vendor.
Organising one
- Open Markets and events, then New event. Give it a name, when (every week until a date, or on certain days) and where.
- Under Details, tap Find it on the map so the place shows on the page.
- Invite a vendor: type their whodo address (from their page's link) or their email. Someone not on whodo gets an email that walks them through starting their business; the invitation waits for them.
- Tap Publish. The page opens at whodo.it/e/ and its name. Copy the link, or print the QR code for posters.
- For each vendor who's in: give them a Stall (Stall 12) and Place on the map: tap where their stall is.
Under Vendors you choose who can join: only those you invite, or others can ask too (you approve each one). Cancel the event puts a notice on its page and tells the vendors.
Being a vendor
- An invitation shows at the top of Markets and events. Tap Answer, then Join.
- Write What you'll have: one line, shown on the page under your name.
- Tap Take pre-orders for this market. A pre-order is made with pickup times at the market, on each date to come. Add what you're selling and open it, like any pre-order. Customers order from the event's page and pick up at your stall.
To ask for a stall at an event that takes requests, open its page and tap Want a stall? at the bottom.
